Ans. Ruskin Bond's 'The Eyes Have It' is an outstanding short story with a catchy title. The word 'eyes' in the title iskeyword in the story. The eyes are the windows to one's soul and the primary organ for human being top perceiver the world. Both the narrator and the girl in the story were blind. But they tried their best to hide theirb The narrator painted beautiful image of the girl in his mind's eyes which tantalised him to listen to her voice for any length of time. The blind eyes become less important than the eyes of mind having everything. Lastly the eyes of a new fellow traveller reveal that the girl had beautiful eyes but of no use to her. Thus the title is ironically appropriate.
