Moral Story

Write a story in around 120-150 words with the assistance of the following outlines. Include an appropriate title and moral of this.


Outline: An English sailor — a prisoner of was in France—returns home after the end of the war — stops at a bird shop in London—buys all the birds in the cages —frees the birds—the bird-seller wonders at his conduct– the sailor said,"I know the pain of captivity."

Once there was a war between England and Germany. In it an English sailor was made a prisoner. He was confined in France for a few years. His life in the prison-cell was a period of great sufferings. He always longed to see his dear and near ones. Finally the war reached a conclusion .The English sailor was set free. His joy knew no bounds. He came back to his native land. One day he visited a bird-seller's shop in London.It was full of cages containing a wide range of birds.He bought all the birds. Then he opened the cages and set the birds free one by one. The bird-seller was astonished at his peculiar conduct.He asked the sailor why he had released the birds.The sailor answered, "I know the agony of bondage."

Moral:- Freedom is eminent joy.
